The purpose of this website is to introduce the more and more advancing fire arts to the Bulgarian public.  They, being a part of the popular culture, are usually connected to definite groups of people, but actually they have overcome these stereotypes and more and more people start practicing them.  Some have fun, others call it sport, third find a way to express themselves, but whatever the actual purpose is, when dancing with fire they do something beautiful and entertain the public. Probably you have watched a fire poi spinning as a part of festivals or concerts, or people, spinning fire in the parks. If you want to find out more about the fire and how to spin it, this is the right place to come.

 

   TO GET STARTED

This website aims to help the fire poi beginners get a close touch of the fire arts, providing them with information and connecting them with other people, who share their interests. If you’re a beginner you can read the articles and check the link to the other websites. At the current moment our website doesn’t contain much information or video lessons, but this is a constant matter of ongoing review. If you organize a party, the website could help you to get in touch with people, who spin fire poi or make fire performances.

 

   THE COMMUNITY

One of the purposes of the website is to become a meeting point of the united fire arts community.  Currently this community is small, but open to new enthusiasts, no matter the level of their skills.
Each of the fire spinners, have experienced the beginner’s stage, so giving a try is nothing to lose.  You can exchange information within the forum, to upload pictures in the gallery, or to start your own blog. At the moment we’re planning to create a data base for all Bulgarian spinners. This, we think, would help the exchange of experience, which is really important when developing the fire spinning and the fire arts.
